Welcome to the Cambria Historical Society website. Cambria's history reflects the fascinating story of the American West. It's full of tales about the lives of cowboys, miners, merchants and more. Our website is a place to share many of the priceless stories and photos we have collected over the years from Cambria pioneer families. We're happy to make their inspiring recollections available online for you to enjoy any time you choose. And, we will add to them periodically, so keep coming back for more. Sharing Cambria's heritage is an important mission of the Cambria Historical Society. For one thing, that heritage belongs to you. With help from the community and visitors to Cambria, we purchased and restored the Guthrie-Bianchini House as Cambria's museum of history for everyone, young and old, to explore and enjoy. Come in and meet the pioneers who have inspired us with the tenacity and energy that reflects America's heritage and values. Our docents and exhibits will take you on a fascinating journey. The Cambria Historical Museum is located in the heart of Cambria's East Village at 2251 Center Street, so come and relax in our garden. Take A Virtual Tour With your help, we will continue to research and share the fascinating story of Cambria's past with future generations. Become a Family member for $30 per year or a Friend for $100 per year. Or sponsor the Cambria Historical Society as a business member. We are partners in our appreciation for this wonderful timeless village we call Cambria. |
